Actress, Presenter & Business Woman
Growing up in Cheshire, Emily began her acting career at the age of 11 in her first professional role, playing daughter to real-life father David Fleeshman in the European Premier of Neil Simon's 'Jake’s Women' at The Library Theatre, Manchester.
In 2008, Emily graduated from Lancaster University where she studied Theatre Studies and then embarked on a six month journey across Asia, including; China, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia.
From her early start, Emily has gone to work predominantly in television from 'Shameless' to 'Still Open All Hours'. She has had the privilege of working with renowned individuals including; Ben Elton, David Jason and Patricia Routledge to name a few.
Alongside a fruitful acting career, Emily co-owns and manages the Manchester based actors training facility, The Actors’ Lab established in 2011, based in the heart of Media City UK,
The Actors’ Lab provides services for aspiring and professional actors offering training, support and selective representation. Emily recognised a keen interest in business from an early age and is delighted to have been able to grow and manage a successful business that plays an integral role in supporting emerging talent in a field which she feels passionate about.
Emily was selected and subsequently completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2015 and has recently been named a finalist in this years Young Entrepreneur of the Year E3 Award,
The Actors' Lab has also been awarded Bronze for 'Best Company to Work For' at North East Cheshire Business Awards 2015.
